Profs David Vaughan and Jonathan Bamber were joined by ice2sea advisor Prof. Chris Rapley at the Science Media Centre in London on the 8th November. They formed part of a briefing panel to environment and science journalists on the state of global ice cover.

This resulted in an article in The Independent newspaper entitled “Warning over melting of polar ice” on the 9th November.
