Ice2sea would like to welcome Prof. Chris G. Rapley as an external special advisor to ice2sea.

Prof. Rapley moved to his current position in the Department of Climate Sciences at University College London following his role as Director of the Science Museum in London. He had previously, among many other positions, been the Director of the British Antarctic Survey, the co-ordinator for ice2sea.

Prof Rapley’s first role in ice2sea was attendance at the Steering Committee meeting at the Alfred-Wegener Institute in Bremerhaven, Germany, in October.
